Welders/Fabricators & Project Engineer

We have a high quality structural steel manufacturer headquartered in Adelaide. We are seeking skilled tradespeople to fill full positions for a 1st Class Welders, Metal Fabricators and a Project Administrator due to business growth. You will need to meet the high standards of our business and our customers’ needs for accurate tolerances. The successful applicants will have sound Mig, Tig and Oxy expertise, be able to follow blue prints, cut, fabricate and finish steel components.

Skills in pressure welding will be highly regarded.

The successful tradespeople must be Qualified Welders and must have attained at least an Australian Certificate IV in Engineering or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in welding heavy steel for a minimum of 3 years is mandatory. A demonstrated skill in following blue prints is essential as is proven experience at completing jobs to a high standard of finish. Additionally, the successful applicant will display an understanding of OH&S and an ability to work as a member of a team and without close supervision.

The tradesmen will be located the field at oil and gas fields in the north-east of the state and some work will be required in Brisbane.
